Full service lease, also known as operational lease, is a type of leasing agreement in which a company or individual leases a vehicle from a leasing company. Short lease is a form of full operational lease, or full service lease. In a full service lease, the leasing company is responsible for all aspects of the vehicle, including maintenance, insurance, taxes, repairs, and usually fuel costs. The leasing company assumes ownership of the vehicle and charges the lessee a monthly fee in exchange for use of the vehicle and the services listed.
