Rental

Renting means that someone uses or employs something for a certain period of time in return for payment from another person. Rent out therefore means lending something for payment. This could be a landlord, for example, who rents his property to a tenant. But this could also be a leasing company that rents a car to a person or company. If this is a month or longer, then this is usually called leasing.
