Damage to my short-term lease car, what now?

It is very annoying when you have damage to your car. In case of damage to your car, take the following into account:

• Call the police in the event of personal injury, major damage or damage for which the other party is unknown.
• Record names, addresses and telephone numbers of witnesses.
• Do you need immediate assistance or are you unable to continue driving due to the damage? Contact us directly via +31 (0)88 700 1818.
• Please contact the Dealer Leasing as soon as possible to arrange repairs and, if necessary, replacement transport.
• Send a fully completed and signed European damage form on both sides, possibly supplemented with relevant information such as photos, to Dealerleasing within 24 hours. This can be done via schade@dealerleasing.nl.

Direct assistance

Do you need immediate assistance or are you unable to continue driving due to the damage? Contact us directly via +31 (0)88 700 1818. During office hours, the employees of Dealerleasing are at your service, outside these hours assistance is provided by the Dealerleasing alarm center. The alarm center calls the emergency services and, if necessary, provides replacement mobility. This applies to damage cases at home and abroad.

Damage with other party

Do you have damage to the lease car and is another party involved? We request that you take the following steps:

1. Complete the damage claim form together with the other party and don't forget to complete the back of the form.
2. Take photos of the damage and the scene of the accident.
3. If necessary, record details of witnesses.
4. If possible, report the damage immediately by telephone to Dealerleasing (+31 (0)88 700 1818). If this is not possible, we request that you report the damage within 24 hours. We would also like to receive a scanned version of the damage report form and/or photos of the damage at the email address schade@dealerleasing.nl
5. After reporting the damage, you will be contacted if necessary to have the damage repaired.

Damage without other party

Do you have damage to the lease car without the other party being involved? We request that you take the following steps:

1. Report the damage within 24 hours of the occurrence or discovery of the damage. This can be done online by filling in the form report one-sided damage to fill in. Send any photos by email stating the license plate number to schade@dealerleasing.nlYou can also report the damage to us by telephone, please call during office hours. +31 (0)88 700 1818.
2. After reporting the damage, you will be contacted if necessary to have the damage repaired.
