The Mercedes-Benz GLE Hybrid is a premium SUV with a generous size, plenty of luxury and a high seating position. The GLE name was introduced in 2015 as the successor to the third-generation M-Class, with a name that better matches the rest of the Mercedes-Benz range. The GLE is larger than the GLC, but smaller than the GLS. An important innovation compared to the M-Class is that the GLE is now also available with rear-wheel drive.
The Mercedes-Benz GLE is available as a regular SUV and as a 5-door coupe, with a sloping roofline reminiscent of a sporty coupe. The latest generation is equipped with modern technology, including the MBUX infotainment system, updated engines, an advanced steering wheel and a large digital screen in the dashboard as standard. The GLE is available with various petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrains, all equipped with an automatic transmission.
